There is no avoiding that we all experience suffering and pain in life. It is simply a part of being human. Our natural instinct is to try and avoid this suffering and stop feeling; however we can't choose to only feel the good things. Instead of cutting ourselves off from the wide range of emotions in life, my practice focuses on helping people learn to experience both joy and pain. Our gifts are often discovered in times of great suffering- in times of darkness in our lives, we experience our true courage. My work with you will be focused on helping you live a life of meaning and connection, even in the midst of suffering. The focus of the work is on your relational context as well as personalized to you as an individual. I would like to help you make sense of your story and find peace in the midst of challenges.

Healing depends on listening with the inner ear – stopping the incessant blather, and listening. Fear keeps us chattering – fear that wells up from the past, fear of blurting out what we really fear, fear of future repercussions. It is our very fear of the future that distorts the now that could lead to a different future if we dared to be whole in the present.
